Farmland Legacies believes that land should be acknowledged as a resource, not a commodity. It is about preserving opportunities for future generations, strengthening rural communities, alleviating hunger, and ensuring that the gifts entrusted to us continue to serve the common good.
For nearly thirty years, Farmland Legacies has worked alongside farmers, landowners, faith communities, donors, and charitable organizations to create a more sustainable and compassionate agricultural system.
Farmland Legacies has two primary avenues by which we undertake our work – maintaining a Land Trust and running our Harvest for Hunger Program. We have also recently launched a collaborative Land Donation Program with the Saskatchewan Community Foundation.
